ive come across some scary rumor at my local comic shop. theyre saying Archie Comics may be ending/cutting ties with the 'Sonic the Hedgehog' brand/franchise. we know they already ended their work with Megaman to many fans dismay. i went searching online and found that the rumor was more far spread than id anticipated. there has been no 100% solid proof as of yet that this will happen and if it does many fans/readers are hoping the series will be taken over by IDW. im hoping this myself. theyre doing a great job with several licensed franchises and i think the 'Sonic the Hedgehog' franchise would transfer over well with them. most people, including me, are hoping if this does happen that IDW will keep the same writing and artist staff that is currently working on the series with Archie. i found out by researching online that the Archie Comics online store had all of their Sonic comics on sale for around 75% off so i went shopping and found a 20% off coupon that helped me out greatly seeing how they dont combine shipping. i'm writing this journal because ive found irrefutable proof that the Archie Comics online store isnt just holding a 75% off sale for the Sonic comics but are actually Liquidating their entire online stock of the 'Sonic the Hedgehog' series. that can only mean one thing folks....they're dropping the series. lets just all pray that IDW gets the rights because if they dont the longest running comic based off of a game series will end after 20 some years of adventure and fun.

listening: Gods of Egypt - Prologue
im a huge ancient Egypt fan so when the movie Gods of Egypt came out i was all over it. and even though the movie was a box office bomb i absolutely loved it! it was like a comic books take on the mythos of ancient Egypt. i loved the story and the portrayal of the characters. the movie was beautiful and its soundtrack is no exception.

reading and watching: Sousei no Onmyouji
i just recently got into this anime and it started off slow but i ended up falling in love with it and its bad writing. lol the characters grow on you as well as the story. i binged it to the episode that was currently out, episode 46, and i loved it. of course it isnt over yet! im super excited for the next ep! the manga is def worth the read too being that it is different from the anime with extra parts that arent in the show.

playing: FFXIII & FFXIV & FFXV
ive just started playing FFXIII (finally) and so far i love it. ill follow up and play FFXIII-2 and FFXIII-3 afterwards of course and let you guys know what i thought of the story. ive 100% FFXV (at least until the episode patches anyway) and i loved it.

today is my 31st birthday! so i thought id go ahead and update my journal for the heck of it. im working on getting a business card printed through Vista Print. i had some postcards made through them last month and they came out wonderful. def give them a look if youre looking to get nearly anything printed and at competitive prices. im trying to get myself set up where i can make a small living off of my artwork etc. it will start off very slow but eventually id like to only do art from home for a living instead of having a "day job" on the side. on another note ive been playing FFXIV more than usual.....so time consuming. prob because of the recent huge patch. but im nearly done unlocking all the new content so i can go back to just doing dailies and logging right back off. i just bought One Piece Burning Blood for the PS4 and im super excited to start playing it! anyone else a One Piece fan and also play the games? (i shamelessly have all of them that have been released for an English speaking audience)

yep this time last year i posted a journal.............cant believe it has been almost a full year since i have posted a journal here. i swear im on all the time. lol finally got my new computer it is a Lenovo Yoga 700 with a SSD. (i named her Novo....yep) i know i was planning to install and take a crack at MMD when i got a new comp but im too swamped to even think about something like that atm but i still plan too in the future. currently unemployed due to moving to Florida for 20 months to live in an apt with my lil brother while he goes to college at Full Sail. im working on several projects as usual while trying to get a part-time job working just 3 days a week which will give me more time to do things i actually want to do including helping my lil bro any way he needs me too with school and what not. as for my other computer; the hard drives failed in it. its an HP and a walmart one at that. i really do love it but itll cost me around 200$ to get it fixed at geeksquad here in FL. which is fine but when you dont have a job it really sucks and my stash is getting lower and lower. ill get it fixed in a few weeks and use it as a backup though regardless.

ive been playing the pants off of the new Ratchet & Clank game for the PS4. so much fun! though i am a little upset that they cut like 5 planets from the game that would have made the game a lot longer. it was short and didnt take me long to platinum. the original first game was a lot longer but they did better with the story and Ratchets over all disposition in the reboot. dont get me wrong i love the new game but its just sooooo short. the movie helped make the adventure seem longer but still. i hope they reboot at least the next two; going commando, and up your arsenal. in my opinion itll help tie up loose ends and loop holes in the story as a whole. if you want to look at it with the official cannon mindset of course. i love the story and i try not to go by what people say they think is going on or their interpretations of how the loop hole isnt a loop hole. i want my cannon proof. i think a good way to extend the game would be to add back the 5 planets as a second small direct continuation to the end of the game where the purpose is to clean up some of the passed over planets that may still be suffering from the Blarg invasion. and maybe throw in a new bad guy to give it a short game story like maybe an underling of the now deceased Chairman Drek. meh, it's a thought. kinda like what they did with R&C Quest for Booty. it would be great if they did in my opinion. i miss those planets they cut and so do many other fans.

01. One Piece Uncharted Adventure - this is a collage of many MANY doujins/stories i'm working on for my fave anime and manga of all time One Piece.
02. Yu☆Gi☆Oh! It's Your Move! - the purpose of this story is to show what would happen if the story continued after the ending of Atemu passing on to the afterlife. what would Yugi do and how would he grow? It goes from Yugi visiting Atemu's past with an egyptian body and experiencing the culture of egypt and learning a little more of his partners life in his past. it goes on to his crossing over then his revival into the present that i won't give any more away on except for the pharaoh of the past living in the present with his own body. how will that happen?
03. Digimon An Ocean of The Sky - Taichi may have grown up and started a family but the digital world needs him yet again. he is forced to return and upon returning he realizes something strange. he's the same age he was when he left the digital world on his last visit. why was he forced here, why is he a kid again, and where is his sister Hikari. she'd been missing for the past several days and the Kamiyas have been searching everywhere for her with the help of the police without any luck. could this sudden connection with the digital world have anything to do with her disappearance?
